All complete computer systems are warranted by Pace Computers to be free from defects in manufacturing and materials for one year from date of purchase. Complete systems include free installation of hardware upgrades or add-ons purchased through us. Changes made to the system by the owner or a third party (including the addition of software) are not covered under the system labor warranty. Should Pace Computers provide warranty service, it assumes no liability for data loss, loss of use, or other consequential damages and agrees only to return the system to its original configuration at the time of purchase.
Repair or Upgrade Warranty Information
Labor directly related to a repair or upgrade is warranted for 30 days. In performing service, Pace Computers assumes no liability for data loss, loss of use, or other consequential damages.
Product Warranty Information
An original sales receipt / invoice is required for all returns. Refund or credit will be given for unopened product returned within 10 days of purchase. Opened product will be credited or refunded only if the product and all items originally sold with the product such as packaging, manuals, software, cables, etc. are returned in excellent condition. No refunds, credits, or exchanges on special orders or clearance items.
Because of the volatile nature of computer component prices, returned products may be refunded at either the sale price or the current price, whichever is lower. Though it will not apply to most purchases, Pace Computers reserves the right to charge a 15% restocking fee for return of products which are not defective.
Most OEM (non-retail) products are warranted by Pace Computers to be free from defects in manufacturing and materials for one year from date of purchase. OEM CPUs carry a 60 day Pace warranty. Retail products (including CPUs) are covered by Pace warranty for 30 days after which time the manufacturer’s warranty applies.
Defective product presented for exchange must be accompanied by all items originally sold with the product such as packaging, manuals, cables , software, etc. and the original sales receipt / invoice. If you are not returning a product to our facilities, a return authorization must be obtained from us before we will accept your shipment.
During the warranty period, product which is found to be defective shall be repaired or replaced at the option of Pace Computers. If an identical part is not available, the determination of an equivalent replacement will be made by Pace Computers. Liability is limited only to replacement of the defective product and Pace Computers accepts no responsibility for data loss, loss of use, or other consequential damages.
NOTE: Special order products are items which are not regularly stocked in our inventory. Special orders covered under warranty cannot be exchanged and must be returned to the manufacturer or distributor which can result in a wait for replacement or repair.
